DIAMOND HAND SAW - WEKA TR40 + CONVERTER FU6D

Description

TR40 , new diamond ring saw from WEKA.
It is a diamond ring saw for versatile use - cutting in concrete, masonry, stone
With the 400 mm diameter diamond ring saw blade, concrete walls and masonry up to 300 mm thick can be cut by hand
depths.

High frequency drive

Nominal power at 230 volts is a maximum of 3,700 watts, and up to 6,500 watts at 400 volt 3 AC.
The motor is water-cooled, according to the cooling principle patented by WEKA. The cooling circuit is
completely separated from the electrical part of the motor. If water leakage occurs in case of improper handling of the cut-off machine,
this cooling water does not enter the engine, but only leaks outwards.
High-frequency drive motor
efficient FU6 D inverter, which is built into a small, stable
water-cooled aluminium housing.
The cooled FU6 D frequency inverter can be used as a universal
the driving unit for all units in the ANNA and EMMA series, as well as HF
HD16 and HD18 drills. Integrated PFC stabiliser
(Powerfactor Correction) ensures that the inverter does not pick up any reactive current from the grid-
but only the energy it converts into mechanical power
.
The inverter itself recognises whether I am running on 230 V or 400 V and adjusts the power and output accordingly.
By the way, the inverter also knows which machine is connected and
adjusts all machine parameters.
The motor current is regulated as required and limited to a maximum value. This means that it cannot be overloaded.
The engine temperature is constantly checked. If the engine is overloaded or under-cooled,
Status and error messages are displayed to the user via a signal mounted on the frequency inverter.

Service

Thanks to the adjustable handle and the variable position of the diamond ring guard, it can adapt to any
cutting task. An integrated safety switch prevents the motor from starting accidentally.
The diamond ring is manually plunged into the workpiece. By slow back and forth movements, the desired cut is made.
If dry cutting is to be performed, the motor can still be water-cooled by directing the water flow through a bypass valve.
Of course, water cooling is done indirectly through the saw spindle and thus cools the diamond tool.
The ball valve is mounted under the switch handle in such a way that it can be easily operated with the index finger
without letting go of the saw.

The disc guard also has an enlarged splash guard that can be used by the customer
A separate dust extraction system is available as an option (accessory), which can be attached to the blade guard.
Dust extraction reduces dust contamination during dry cutting.

Stability and weight

The aluminium housing makes the cutter stable and lightweight at the same time - compared to the high power rating of 6500 watts
is very manageable at 13.5 kg.

Protection against corrosion and water

The housing and blade guard are made of aluminium, all necessary parts are rust-free.
The converter is not only very strong and robust, but also splash-proof.
